Wings by Natalie Horner
I've been writing for a little while, now and on my journey, I spent a number of years at a creative writing group in Barnsley. They are a great bunch of people with lots of great stories, so if you're in the area and want to find ways to improve your writing, I definitely recommend them.
In that time, I helped critique a story by my friend, Natalie. Low and behold, it's now a fully published novel and out for you, yes, you, to get your grubby little mitts on it!
If you love things like Buffy and City of Bones, then this will be straight up your alley. I'm really happy for Natalie, and I think it would be great if you would check her story out.

Eastercon booked!
With the exception of Chymera, I took a year off attending the UK literary conventions. 2026 is set for my triumphant return!
in spring of 2026, I'll be heading out to Birmingham to attend Iridescence, the 2026 Eastercon. If you've never been to one, I recommend it as I've never attended a more laid back, friendly convention where readers and writers of all things sci-fi, fantasy and horror (as well as all the stuff in between) can gather and just talk about what they love.

Chymera 2025!
I'll be heading into the gorgeous city of Edinburgh to join in with the fantastic festival of words!
The festival runs from 6th-8th June 2025, and it'll be my first time coming along, so I'm quite excited to see everything going on.
There will be lots of things like author talks, panels, agents, and a chance to see your favourite publishers, so if you're around and you see me perusing the various book stalls or sat in a bar, somewhere, feel free to say hi.
